Crowdfunding
At NorthStar Game Studio, I launched Nature, the biggest Kickstarter campaign in the publisher’s 20-year history.
I planned every element of the Kickstarter page, from designing the page layout, graphics, and pledge levels to writing all the copy and Kickstarter Updates. I also wrote the script and concept for the video and coordinated its production.
To support the launch, I planned a meta ad campaign and social media posts across five platforms. I also worked with 12 content creators to create campaign videos covering everything from ‘How to Play’ to ‘Playthroughs.’
Amazon Seller Central
My strategy for growth on Amazon utilizes industry research, deep product knowledge, personalized product pages, premium A+ content, and hyper-focused advertising.
At NorthStar, I updated all product listings, took new product photography, created infographics, implemented best-practice keywords, and added premium A+ content.
This approach grew Amazon sales by over 50% two years in a row, while focused keyword advertising increased the revenue generated through ads while significantly reducing ad spend.
Convention Management
I’ve organized and managed publisher convention presence at over 10 shows, including the three most attended board game events, Essen Spiel, Gencon, and UK Games Expo.
My responsibilities have covered everything required, including stand design, stock management, demo team organization, point of sale setup, content creator meetings, plus hotels and transport.
I’ve also attended events like the Nuremberg and UK Toy Fairs, organizing meetings to discuss international licensing partnerships and new product opportunities.
Additionally, I also always create supporting graphics to inform our audience, covering email and social media.
Content Marketing
I combine my film degree, experience as a product photographer, and eye for graphic design to create eye-catching content. Whether for print or digital media, I create content that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression.
Community Management
In every project, I look for ways to connect with the tabletop community and create fun and engaging dialog.
During the Tinderblox Kickstarter, I invited the community to collaborate on the project by determining the design of the promo cards. From just 2,000 backers, I produced huge engagement, with over 1,500 comments throughout the campaign.
After this community-charged launch, Tinderbox became a viral hit on social media, selling over 200,000 copies worldwide so far.
